KADALASANG MGA KATANUNGAN SA JOB INTERVIEW

Para sa mga bagong gradweyt at sa mga naghahanap ulit ng bagong trabaho, sigurado na maririnig mo itong mga tanong na ito sa job interview. Isipin mo na lang na ang job interview parang beauty pageant lang yan; mas maganda at matindi ang sagot mo, mas malaki ang tsansa na makapasok ka sa top 10 o top 5. Isipin mo na marami ang kaagaw mo sa posisyon, at karamihan yan ready yan sa gira at makikipagputukan yan para sa hinahangad nilang pabuya. Maghanda kaibigan at pag-aralan ang mga katanungan sa listahan na ito. Relax lang at bawal atakihin sa puso. Mahal magpahospital. Goodluck.

“What are some of your strengths?”

“Tell me about some of your skills that apply to this job.”

“What accomplishment do you feel most proud of?”

“What would you do if you caught a coworker stealing?”

“What was your favorite class in school?”

“Tell me what you think your former coworkers would say about you.”

“What did you think about your former boss?”

“Why are you leaving your former company?”

“Why would you like to work for this company?”

“What do you see yourself doing 5 years from now?”

“Don’t you think you might be too inexperienced/overqualified for this position?”

“Do you have a disability?”

“Why did you never finish your degree?”

“What do you usually do on weekends?”

“Just out of curiosity, what’s your favorite color?”

“What do you consider to be your greatest failure?”

“What weaknesses do you think you have?”


“Have you ever been late for work or an important appointment?”

“How much do you know about our company?”

“Would you object to personality or drug testing?”

“How do you explain that you were at your last company for only 1 year/1 month?”

“What were you doing between the time you worked for that company and today?”

“What is the most difficult interpersonal situation you have had to deal with at work, and how did you handle it?”

“What do you expect to earn here?”

“What was your salary in your last position?”

“Are you looking for a position in many other companies?”

“Why do you think you deserve more than what we usually pay for this position?”

“Are you familiar with our company mission statement, and if so, what do you think of it?”

“How would you describe your personality?”

“When would you be willing to start work?”

“Give me an example of how you react to change.”

“What do you think you could accomplish in your first year here?”

“May we call your references?”

“We have many applicants for this position. Why should I hire you?”
